Community life A sense of community life is important in helping young children to develop social skills, self-esteem and care and respect for others. Although the Montessori method encourages a freedom of choice and movement, it also makes sure that this 'freedom' is set within limits, ensuring a respect for peers and for the classroom environment. The teacher guides each child towards activities which are suited to his/her level of development. He/she is then encouraged to complete the activity, working at his/her own pace. Children learn to take care of their specially-prepared classroom, helping to put materials back in their proper place. They also learn to respect each other's work space by either waiting for their turn, or by asking to share in an activity.
From Principal’s Desk "Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations" Today Little Angels has blossomed into a flower imparting quality education with emphasis on Indian values to the children right from Mont 1 to the Secondary level. It provides a fertile environment for the holistic development of a child during his/her formative years. We work with an eye on making learning more lateral and fulfilling. The role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. Our curriculum provides a platform to develop not only academic proficiency but also to develop skills outside the classroom. Our team of qualified, confident and committed faculty members continuously monitor the students’ individual development and make them ready to take on the challenges of an ever-changing world. Students at LAMHS are harnessed to become responsible, balanced and matured adults and are guided to contribute and to shoulder responsibilities of the society. Children need a supportive environment at home and at school. They need to set goals, and make specific plans to achieve what they desire. This will help them move forward purposefully in life. They would, thus, have the pleasure of realising their dreams. While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to prepare the students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant. We constantly endeavour to always live up to this ideology and inculcate this into everything we do, with the aim that we will be able to ensure that the children grow to their full potential, while constantly being groomed to be competent to bear responsibility in all walks of life. We look forward to all your support, dear parents, in all our endeavours to keep the flag of Little Angels flying high. Rema RajGopal Principal
